SELECT RIGHT CHEMICAL ANCHOR FOR SAFETY FIXINGS

To ensure safety and long-life fixings, it is important to know the chemical characters for proper applications before select. However, most of customers do not know how to choose suitable products, and it is difficult to understand the difference between each resin. Today we are going to introduce the resins characteristic we use for making our chemical anchor.
There are 3 types of resin in the chemical anchor range which are Polyester, Epoxy acrylate, and Pure epoxy.

Polyester resin for chemical anchor- X100

Polyester is the common reactive resin used for 2-component injection mortar. The 2-component Polyester injection mortar is the fast and easy one to use. Its rapid strength could bring higher bonding strength to connect objects and concrete within two hours (In temperature 30~40℃ condition). X100 Polyester mortar has good adhesion to most construction materials and is economically option to a wide range of markets from DIY to construction project. This type is easy catch for beginner.

Vinylester resin for chemical anchor- X600 & X2000

Vinyl ester resin is produced by the esterification of epoxy resin with acrylic or methacrylic acids which is also known as epoxy acrylate. It can extend to multiple products for chemical resistance in the market. Our X600 epoxy acrylate chemical anchor has combine both advantages of unsaturated polyester resin and epoxy resin which make it having excellent bonding strength and corrosion resistance to acidic and alkali and fast processability. The new generation of vinylester chemical anchor is styrene-free which is our X2000. X2000 has excellent performance as X600, but it is more suitable for indoor application.

Pure epoxy for chemical anchor- X500 & X500SD

Epoxy resins are also known as artificial resin and widely used in industry because steady property and multifunctional capacity. It is a thermosetting polymer that contain epoxides which means it would only react by adding the hardeners or curing agents. The chemical reaction that takes place is referred to as curing or hardening, where the previously soft epoxy is converted into a rigid material. Two-component epoxy chemical anchor is distinguished by very good thermal and compound properties achieve outstanding bonding strength in diamond-drilled holes and large diameter. Our upgraded X500SD epoxy chemical anchor is the most popular one for infrastructure and construction projects.

To understand the feature of each resin is just the first step, we also need to consider the applications and conditions required at the project site. With all the evaluation, it could guide us to choose the right product. The final step is to test the product in practical to make sure the data meet all of the requirements. Experienced installer and technician inspect details during whole process is key to eliminate human error. Our team can assist you for product acknowledge and performance assessment.
